Building The Future
HMPS began in 1980 as a response to the thriving South Australian Wine Industry, requiring bag in box packaging for wine casks. Since then, we have evolved into a business with over 50 employees, who create a vast range of packaging systems that are implemented nationally and internationally.
We design and engineer robotic and automation machinery to suit your specific packaging needs. Our bespoke approach to creating packaging machinery allows you to tailor the machines to your requirements, which enables you to quickly respond to changing market conditions and your customer’s needs and expectations.
As one of the only remaining Australian companies in this industry, we pride ourselves on being Australian designed and engineered, and place great importance on ensuring the innovation of robotics and engineering continues to develop and remain in Australia.
We are continuing to grow our services, from end of line productions through to complete lines. To this end we have acquired two businesses over the last 18 months.
Firstly, we acquired PROPAC Industrial who manufacture VFFS machinery to bag products. They have been manufacturing multiple different machines out of the Sydney factory for over 30 years and since joining the group have seen staggering growth and continue to drive new innovations in their product line.
Secondly, we acquired Integrated Machinery (now HMPS VIC) from the PPG group. They sell and support stretch wrapping equipment from their Melbourne factory and joined the group in June 2021.
With the 3 companies in the HMPS Group, we are a truly national manufacturing business with extensive support for our dramatically growing customer base.
HMPS VIC
Our stretch wrapping machines range from semi and automatic stretch wrapping machines to fully automated lines and individual projects. Our range also includes case handling, shrink packaging and conveying equipment. Our resources fulfill every stretch wrapping, packaging and project requirement, from design through to engineering, installation and commissioning.
We also provide ongoing preventative maintenance and repair service to ensure optimal performance from our wrapping machines and specialised equipment.

We design and manufacture a complete range of Vertical Form Fill Seal machines which are highly reliable, heavy duty and technologically advanced. Our packaging machines are supported by a team of factory trained engineers who are customer focused and committed to keeping you producing efficiently.
We specialise in bagging systems with innovative pack styles including Edge Seal Stand Up bags, Reclosable Zipper, Vacuum and MAP, large format packs and liquid/pumpable food packaging.
